Guys,

I have done the eligibility form to check if I am eligible in express entry system but unfortunately it came up as "not eligible".

I am not quite convinced bcoz I think that I am still eligible and did not understand fully the questionnaire.

I would like to give you guys my info highlights, please can you let me know if I am eligible?

Qualification : Master's
Age : Approx. 30
Work Exp : 2.5 Yrs [ Electrical Engineer]
IELTS : [ L-7; W-6; R-6; S-6]
TEF : A1 [Basic Only]
No Exp or Education in Canada & Unmarried

I think I fall under Skill Level A, but not sure, please advice.

Regards

Thanks PR4CAN!

Which NOC code is applicable for Electrical Engineer. I have 2.5 Yrs of experience, Please suggest me.

Furthermore, if I am eligible then why did I not get through in the initial eligibility assessment on cic.gc.ca.
How can I address to myself to get into pool and submit my documents.

Thank you again for reply. ~

first you need to look for job and responsibilities and NOC which is matching with your job responsibilities then find out your NOC comes under which category(O, A or B) . see the IELTS score you need it to get eligible. You dont need to attach any document unless you get invitation.

I am working under NOC 0621 in canada and its my 1 month of working as i have 2 years of experience in India with same NOC.
Single
AGE 25
eDUCATION- MBA
Studied 1 year in Canada
job offer in canada without Lmia
ielts- 6.5(S 6, L 7, r 7, W6)

When i click on come to canada to find out whether i am eligible or not it shows i am not. I do not understand why. Because when i try to create EE profile if shows you should have personal identification number(which comes from wizard i.e. come to canada to check your eligibility)

Really confused

would below be applicable for me, I have exp. in oil and gas electrical design.

In the last five years, do you have at least two years of experience in one of these types of jobs (skilled trades)?
industrial, electrical and construction trades (NOC codes that start in 72)
maintenance and equipment operation trades (NOC codes that start in 73)
supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production (NOC codes that start in 82)
processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators (NOC codes that start in 92)
chefs and cooks or (NOC codes that start in 632)
butchers and bakers (NOC codes that start in 633)

Also, what should be the minimum amount that should be brought to canada, if you are single or married.

Something is missing somewhere, it's possible you are filling a part of the questionnaire wrongly cuz, you don't even need NOC code to get through this initial stage. Check the way you are filling the it again and ensure you put the proper thing. The question about skilled trades is only applicable to those who are technicians and will fall under FSTW

This question is asked below this question, that, how many years of exp. I have, for which my response is "two to three".
And, for skill trades my response is NO. As, I am an Engineer (not technician).

So, eventhough after I input my data considering this, I get it is do not apprear to qualify.

And, one thing I noticed is when I input my IELTS score 6 in all bands it appear as not qualified but when I changed to 7 in all bands, it seems that I'm qualified.

Dont know what to do? :(
