Am i eligible to get part time job permission

Hi
Am i eligible to get Part time job in 8 month of course General Arts One-Year Certificate program
Because after 8 month of General Arts One-Year Certificate program directly i will apply for 2 years of Computer network technician
But cic said that International student can work part time job but there Course duration should be 2 year

So during of my fisrt course of General Arts One-Year Certificate program am i eligible to apply for PART TIME permission

1. Yes you can apply to OCWP after 6 months of studies as full time student in a participating institute. There is not such rule of 2 years long course.

2. When you get admission in the other course within 4 months of finishing the first course, you don't have to wait again for 6 months to get an OCWP.

Quote: "If a student begins a new program or level of study within four months of completing a previous program they do not have to wait an additional six months to apply for an Off-Campus Work Permit. They may apply for the OCWPP at the start of their second program and count their full time studies from the preceding program towards their application to work off-campus. For example, if a student completes a bachelor's degree in April and starts a master's degree in September, they are eligible to apply for a permit as soon as they begin the master's program as long as no more than four months have passed.
