Am I eligible to file PR in Exp class if employer changes my NOC code on Clos WP

Hi,

I am working on closed work permit since Dec 2014 but last month my employer changed my NOC code from 2173 ( A Category) to 2282 (B Category).
Kindly assist me to understand, under which NOC code i should apply PR for the express entry in experience class.

Please share me some details if someone had same scenario, would appreciate if seniors respond here.

Hi there,

You should mention both NOC codes. You can apply under both NOC codes. But why are you getting downgraded if you don't mind asking! It's usually the other way around. I hope your salary is still the same or more. Not that it matters, but it's just odd if you ask me.

You're all good, you can apply under both NOC codes. It might raise some eyebrows, since you were accepted as an A and now working as a B. Just get prepared to explain the situation thoroughly if you were ever asked for more information.
