Hi guys!

I was wondering if anyone was able to help me out!

I am nearing the end of my current visa in Canada (March 14th expiry) and I have been living here since January 2011. I am gettin married in August and I need to stay in the country and work (which is why the common law route may not work out. Pretty sure you cant work while it is being processed even on implied status ... am I right?)

I was wondering if I am eligible to be sponsored by BC?

I am British, 25 years old and I have a degree from a British University. I also have a diploma from a Candian college which fully qualifies me as an ESL teacher. I have been working in this field since October as it was then that I graduated. I have been working as a Sub teacher ever since but on full time hours. Both of the schools I have been subbing for have stated a shortage in Sub teachers and they have been relying on me solely to fill the gaps.

An ESL teacher comesunder NOCS 4021 and is in cateogry B. Is there any way I am eligable for this?

Also, if I am and I was to apply do I do it myself or do I need to get one of the schools to offer me a job and apply that way?

Do I have time considering my visa expires very soon?

If I did apply and my visa expires do I get granted implied status?

Thanks for any help you can give me guys. I really need it!

Yes you will need a job and get one of the schools to apply for you. You mentioned you have a VISA, what kind of VISA do you have?
