Hi all,
After seeing the recent trends for the CRS cut off I'm not expecting the minimum threshold to be lowered anytime soon.
I've been digging around for information related to obtaining a provincial nomination.
So far I'm still pretty confused about my options. I have an express entry (EE) profile submitted, currently sat at 429 points. I could gain a few additional points with my spouse retaking the IELTS test but I would max out at 433 points.
I am working as a software developer (NOC 2174) in my home country, is there a possibility I could receive a provincial nomination? I've selected all provinces on my EE profile.
I tried to apply for a few provinces directly but realised my NOC is no longer on their in-demand list for 2019 e.g. Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.
I did notice the HCP stream for Ontario but looking at the past draws am I correct in saying that their selection range for candidates with no job offers has been above 430 points?
Slightly concerned this may be the end of my journey!
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks again.
