Am i eligible for admission?

Hi

I am pursuing my under graduation (B. Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from India which is due to be completed in may 2012 with an aggregate of about 75%. I want to apply for masters in Engineering management in Canada. I have scored 8 overall in IELTS (L9 R8 W7 S7).I need your expertise on the following:

1) Is my profile good enough to score an admission in masters? or should I opt for a PG diploma ?
2) Will giving the GRE be beeficial?
3) What will be best to do during the gap between June to December(industrial job or teaching)?
4) Is it possible to land there with admission in a PG diploma for the September 2012 session and study it until December and then get my visa updated to the Masters programme in January 2013?
5) Should I apply myself or Through a consultant?

hi
1) ya profile is good to score an addmission in masters..Go for Masters
2)no need to show GRE ...if applying under spp or university checklist..(your ielts band is superb)
3)1 year gap is accpeted
4)ya you can change your program after landing
5)its not necessary to apply through consltant but if you are in doubt and one is there to help you than you should go to the consultant

Yes good enough if you have 16 years education.I mean 12th+4years bachelor degree.If you have total 15 years education,you are good to go with P.G.Diploma
2) Will giving the GRE be beeficial?
Ofcourse it will strength your profile in admission and visa as well.
3) What will be best to do during the gap between June to December(industrial job or teaching)?
Its minor gap.Though it would be better if you have some experience.
4) Is it possible to land there with admission in a PG diploma for the September 2012 session and study it until December and then get my visa updated to the Masters programme in January 2013?
5) Should I apply myself or Through a consultant?
Apply yourself.(strongly recommanded). Admission and visa process is very simple to follow.

I am applying for M. Sc. in Environmental Engineering, but still not clear about how to get the most out of the free period,should I go for an industry job or work as a lecturer in a college? What do you suggest? I mean which will be more beneficial.
