So GCKey doesn't work for me, so I have been checking my permanent residence updates with the online tool. Which option am I supposed to be choosing to check this? Is it immigration? Or does the option I choose not even matter?

It should not matter but Gckey gives you real time updates. Sometimes people say the online tool can take some time to be updated.

I was asking because they haven't updated anything since January, so I was hoping I was choosing something wrong. I already know they've received my medical and background check, but they never update anything.

Okay well give them a call and see what's going on. They would be able to tell you what's taking so long.
