Am I allowed to work in other provinces? LMIA limitation?

My boss hired this lawyer and he got the LMIA approved for me. I have been working for this company for a while with a closed work permit. The lawyer told us that I'm not allowed to travel to other provinces for work because of the LMIA limitations. He meant I'd have to apply for separate LMIAs to different provinces if I want to travel. Which really doesn't make sense to me. The company is based in Ontario, and I am a service technician. It's kinda of a pain in the butt that they can't send me out. Could someone explain this to me ? or point me to a right direction? I have applied for CEC, but that's a long...process. Is there another way around?

Hi KKMONKEY.

You can work in only your workpermit mentioned company, location and work. closed workpermit never allows to do other work at other location. So, you cross your finger and keep it till you get your PR. If you feel any problem by your employer, you sustain everything till get your workpermit.

When did get your AOR and when will expire your workpermit. If you give the details may be you can apply openworkpermit, if you are elegible.
