Am I a Canadian Citizen?

I was born in Detroit Michigan in 1954. My mother is Canadian and was born in 1934. She married my U.S. born father in 1953 and they lived in Detroit till coming to Canada in 1956. My father and myself are landed in Canada as of Oct. 1956. Having being born to a Canadian mother, do I qualify for Canadian citizenship?
