Alternative for reference letter from Ex-Employer

Hi,
Can anyone let me know what is the alternative for the reference letter from Ex-Employer. My ex-employer cannot issue the reference letter in the required format with the required details. The ex-employer instead asked me to show the experience certificate, offer letter, payslips as an alternative. I know for sure CIC needs reference letter. I've completed 4yrs and 9 months in my current company.

Please advice.

As an alternative you can get an affidavit (signed in front of witnesses) from your supervisor/colleague (senior to you).

It does not have to be on letter head, the rest of the requirements are the same.

Thanks, does it need to be on a stamp paper of any specific denomination? Please advice

reference letter some how ok
but letter from previous employer or current employer must required on letter head
other alternate for this
1. any promotion letter you receive during your employment on that your designation mention
2. Relieving letter
i am also pass these type of problem during my PNP approval

self affidavit not acceptable.
