My partner is working in Canada for a company, let's call it Company A. She has gotten her open work permit through IEC Working Holiday Visa which is valid for two years. Her job is permanent. Her work permit is going to expire next year.
She would like to extend her work permit. Her score is low for express entry.
One option is to get Francophone Mobility closed work permit. It seems that she meets all the requirments, we are just confused if she can change from open to closed work permit for the same employer? Can the same employer give another offer for an already employed employee? What if the job title changes? As she might get promoted from Junior to Senior level.
If not, what are her options?
