Already working here on a visa. Want to apply for PR now.

Hi

I came out to Canada to work in Nov2013. My visa expires in Nov 2015. I have now decided that I want to live here permanently.

Are there similar people in the same situation? Especially those beginning the process in 2015.

Not sure what my first step should be as I already skilled employment and my employers want to keep me here too!

I know the new system wants to match candidates with work positions available, to increase the quality of immigrants...but I already have a job!

You need to start by completing an Express Entry profile just like anyone else.

Yep, as stated you have to start by checking eligibility for EE, if you have over a years worth of Canadian work experience in a skilled role then you should be eligible for CEC and therefore EE.

It's worth starting sooner rather than later!
