Already getting tired of waiting

Hello all,

This is my first post to this forum. Please I need someone to tell me if I should continue to wait or start to think of forgetting everything. I started my application in October last year and by March this year I have done my medicals and paid the request PRfee, also in March. However, since then I have not heard a word from them. My ecas still shows in process that its been showing since Feb. this year. I sent them an email (first ever) last month and here's the reply I got from them (Accra visa office)......

Dear Madam / Sir,
This is in response to your email (see below).
Please be advised that a letter will be sent to you shortly.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a
minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer
to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

Now whatever this means, i do not know. Its been over a month that I got this reply and the 'shortly' appears to be getting longer. PLEASE IS THIS THE NORM?

You are nearing the end of process and should not become jittery over some delay, your visa stamped passport is just one step away. Dont loose patence in such a way, you will have sufficient opportunity to loose it when you land in canada and look for job here.

Hi,
First of all, congratulations for having passed most of the immigration process. I am very hopeful that you will soon receive the passport request.
Yet, please be informed that we have cases who have waited even more than a year after they submitted their medical and stil have not heard from the CHC. Though we have very quick cases too. Above all, your case seems normal. If you inform us about your visa office, experts may better comment on your case.

Gent2, a few months of waiting is nothing compared to us who have been waiting for YEARS.

you almost done, dont worry your to close to get the visa, all you have to do is wait, PPR can come any moment
after medical less chances of rejection so please relax, some of us waiting for years and nothing changed, for example my self i applied twice
last week my e cas status shows decision made before medical, god knows what is the decision but always am positive, Be patient good News will come very soon..
