allama iqbal open university?

plz pzl ....
my frend got refusal as she was MBA marketing from allama iqbal open university islamabad but visa officer rejecetd her case as this university is a distance learning program,she does not meet 22 points of education thats why points were 65 bcz they did not give 22 points for her education
why visa officer is doing so, as allama iqbal is a HEC recogniosed institution
i m worried bcz i m also MBA MARKETING frm allama iqbal open university islamabad
what can i do now as i was also student of this university but i have attended regular claasses for MBA marketing in my own city.will i also be refused if i will not get eduacation 22 points ,i will also not score 67 points

Hi Anayya,

If visa office has rejected because its a distance learning university then its pretty much that they will put this objection on you as well because it is a distance learning university. What you can try is to send them the proof of your attendance in your city showing that you have attending regular classes like a full time student.

I am not sure if anyone else from Allama Iqbal univesity had this problem or not.

another thing i like to ask that i did my mba in 2004 and at that time i started my job without getting transcripnt form allama iqbal university
now in 2010 i provide them research report and passed viva and got transcript as well as degree
problem is this ,,on transcript it is written
results declared on mar 2010
although there are each semester of 2003 and 2004 is mentioned
will canada accept my mba bcz i got firstly job experience and then i passed viva and got transcript
will i get points of mba

i am also MBA marketing from AIOU in 2009 while i clear my papers in 2008 dec and got my degree in aug 2009 my principle applicant is my spouse and in pre assessmnt we have 69 points it mean if they not accept my degree then we will come on 67.

Do a search on the word "distance" in the PDF below you will findthat distance learning is recognised by CIC as long as the Institution is recognised in the country where it is based.

Hi Annaya,

I am not 100% sure that it will safe you but atleast it will decrease the risk of rejection and all you can do is too minimize the risk of rejection rest is all depend on the visa officer.
