Dear All,

I am planning to apply for CSQ, while filling the application form, I countered below question of Main csq form;

8. Are you the holder of one or several of the following diplomas (check the appropriate boxes: see instructions)
Diploma or training recognized as equivalent by a Québec regulatory body (with the exception of a diploma in medicine)

I have done MBA and BBA from Pakistan, what should i check/tick? yes or no? is my diploma automatically equivalant by Quebec regulatory body?

Check the boxes for all the types of diplomas you have i.e. MBA and BBA.

Rest of the all choices are n't applicable to me in the question no.8, just one choice which as stated tangled me, whether I should check it or not?
You suggest me, I must check it, but I have n't got equalancy from Quebec body, without officially equalancy; will they accept my MBA and BBA equalant to their diplomas?

Hi Ken99,

I just looked up the form (A-0520-AA) and it is different from the PEQ version which is what I had completed. Sorry about the confusion.

If NONE of your diplomas are Québec equivalents, then you will have to check no.

Based on what you have said here, you should check no for all boxes, as your MBA and BBA were not issued by a Quebec or Canadian instituion.

So I completed the QSC application with my husband and plan to send it off on Monday, but I have seen where 2 people posted that as the spouse/wife I should fill out a (A-0520-AA) application for Selection Certificate separate from my husband, this doesn't make any sense.......for us to have 2 such forms?? .PLEASE HELP.

Yes Spouse need to fill out form A-0520-AA seperately because at the start of form you have to check/tick the option accompanying spouse, also this instruction attached to before start of the main form.

Thanks Ken, My package is ready to be sent off but now I am having second thoughts. Wondering if I should wait until I do the French exams first, but who knows what the changes will be come April 1st?

No, you should submit it as early as possible, if you have required points threshold,because on 1st of April you may encounter some unfavorable changes, so don't waste this opportunity and go ahead, However, you can learn French while your case is in process and attempt certification.

Sent my package today, we are enrolled in Alliance Francais so we will take the test later. I hope it gets there in time, its a public holiday there on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Since that date i didn't get any responsr regarding the interview.
Did anybody can advice if it's ok or shall i co tact them?

Your case is similar to many others, I suggest you contact them via email for an update and be sure to include your case number.
