I have received ITA last month and in the process of collecting reference letters from the employers. I know there is not any standard format for the reference letters but someone mentioned that each designation should have separate job duties. My challenge is, as in most Indian companies, my company do change the designation but there is no change in the duties. I worked as the individual contributor roles and the job duties remain the same for all my designations. Designation change in India depends more on the salary brackets than the job duties. I have got the reference letters in the following format.
Can seniors comment if there is some issue with the content of the letter?

Responsibilities & Duties:
During his tenure his detailed job responsibilities were as under (as Sr. Development Engineer, Lead Engineer and Sr. Lead Engineer):
Design Mechanical parts, assemblies, products and packaging within given specifications for the ABC Presentation and Simulation products.
Responsible to define technical specifications, test and qualify the product against them and prepare the final documents related to that parts/assemblies/product as needed in the design documentation process.
Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of ABC Presentation and Simulation mechanical systems at customer sites.
Investigate mechanical failures and recommend, or provide solutions.
Responsible for interaction with external vendors for development of the parts (casted, plastic/ rubber molded, machined).
Feature based parametric modelling and creation of detailed manufacturing drawings.
