Alberta driver's license exchange for Ontario (2+ years experience out of country)

Hi everyone. My case is a little complicated and would love to get help and information.

I have my out of country driver's license which has an agreement with the province of Alberta as it's a reciprocal country (The Netherlands). I have over 10 years experience in my home country and I have met all the requirements to exchange my out of country driver's license for an Alberta Class 5 full license, without taking any knowledge or road test, but I had to surrender my Dutch license.

Now, when I decide to move from Alberta to Ontario (out of province) will I have to wait 2 years to exchange my Alberta license for an Ontario license and will I get my full G license in Ontario right away? Or will it be downgraded into a G2 license in Ontario?

Keep in mind, my Dutch (The Netherlands) driver's license had an agreement with Alberta and they gave me a full Class 5 equivalent license instead and I had to surrender my out of country license. I didn't had to do any test (knowledge or road test).

Will Ontario consider my Alberta license a full class license or will it be considered a G2 license as I'm less than 6 months living in Alberta, prior to my move to Ontario. Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you all!

PS: Ontario does not have a reciprocal agreement with The Netherlands. Only Alberta and Quebec have agreement with The Netherlands. It is kind of silly that the agreement isn't Canada wide since Alberta considers my Netherlands as fully equal, and Ontario considers Alberta class 5 as equal but they don't consider the Netherlands license as equal, they are BOTH the same in perspective.

I was in the situation a little bit similar to yours: I was exchanging SK drivers license to QC one. My country doesn't have any agreements with any of Canadian provinces, so to obtain full class 5 license in SK first I had to pass all the tests. When I moved to QC, the SK license was just a few months old. However, they exchanged to full class 5 Quebec license there without any questions, because full licenses are exchangeable between provinces. They didn't care what license did I have before - the important thing was that I had a Canadian license. The only thing they said is that they could count only 3 years of my driving experience on file, because my SK license was obtained much less than 3 years ago and 3 years is the minimum time to complete graduation program in QC and to get full class 5 license. But I think that it doesn't matter at all, how much driving experience is on your file.

It does matter in BC if you want to get more discounts on the autoplan insurance premium as much as possible.

Ok, if this is important, there should also be an option to bring a driving record from home country, then they will count all the driving experience you have. I was told so in SAAQ. I think it should be more or less the same in BC and ON.
