Hello I am a Greek citizen and my wife is an Albanian citizen and we live in Greece. We both just got our positive LMO from our employer in canada. Is there any chance my wife is gonna be denied the work permit on the point of entry just because she is albanian? She had been denied a turist visa to canada 1,5 year ago because the canadian officers were affraid she wouldnt leave once the turist visa would expire, but that was before we got married and now she has a positive LMO. Does the LMO contain the name and nationality of the person it is for? If that is the case could they issue an LMO and then deny the work permit?

1. It could happen that she is refused.
2. No, the LMO usually doesn't have a name these days, but as she is an Albania citizen she has to apply for the TRV (visitor visa) and work permit at an office outside Canada.
3. On that application she has to list if she has been refused previously.
4. LMO has nothing to do with CIC, the employer applies for the LMO from HRSDC a different Gov't department.
