Hello
I have a problem I live in Saudi and I am a Ukrainian/Syrian willing for the Canadian visa. I get 10000-13000 riyals per month. My son has been accepted in memorial uni of Newfoundland. It costs $16,784 in a year. Now i don't know should I just apply for him showing my bank statements. Or sell my land in ukraine and transfer the money to saudi then give evidence of how this money came and apply ? . i really need help . Good bless you all.

Well mainly your bank statement should be about four months old and should cover a year's tuition fees plus about 13000 canadian dollars as living + travelling expenses. You also have to show the source of this income. If you think that the funds in your account/s does/do not cover the expenses calculated by the upper formula, then you can sell the lands. And once the money is in the accounts, show the bank statement with that money and show the sale deed as well.

$16,784 is the total fee with living tuition and everything :D. I have 65000 saudi riyals In my bank account but I spent 64000 of that amount. If I can get 65000 riyals in 4 months wouldnt that show them that I am capable of paying $16,784 ?

Well then If your Bank funds cover all those expenses then you need to have that money in your bank account for four months atleast before applying for the visa and you can simply show your salary certificate along with it. The four months basically assure the visa officer that the money has been in your account for a while and that suggests that it actually is yours and not borrowed from someone else.
