My wife’s parents have got a TRV. The invitation letter that my wife had sent for them was for a 2-month stay in Canada. Now that they got a 5-year visa, they’re thinking of staying a little longer than that. I know they can’t stay more than 6 months.
Would it be a problem at the port of entry if they showed an airline ticket with return date in, let’s say, 4 months?
They will have a copy of the invitation letter with them in case the CBSA officer wants to see who they’re visiting etc. What if their itinerary doesn’t match the details on the invitation letter.
