Air Canada refund processing times

Hello folks,

I had a direct flight from Mumbai (BOM) to Toronto (YYZ) via New Delhi (DEL) in the month of April from Air Canada. The flight got re-scheduled the third time since the initial booking and I am now thinking to request for a refund since it is refundable and perhaps go with other airline(via indirect route).

The ticket was booked directly from Air Canada with no third-party/agent in the middle and paid through a debit card. I was wondering if anyone recently requested for their refund from Air Canada due to flight cancellation and if so, can you please share, how long did it take for you to receive the refund amount reflecting in your bank account?

Whats a plan after receiving refund if you wont mind… i would suggest to stick with the plan oncr they lift suspension. Ticket will be very expensive due to higher demand by then

I was looking to travel via Serbia to Toronto. The flight rates I am seeing via indirect route are showing up to be cheaper than what I originally spent on the direct flight from India to Canada.
