Hi to all,

I graduated in January 2023 from Memorial University Newfoundland. Due to covid, I was not able to stay for 16 months in the province during my 24 months Master of Education program. Now I have 3 years PGWP. I want to apply for AIP route but I need some clarification/confirmation regarding WORK EXPERIENCE of 1 year

1. I started my First Job in November 20, 2022 in Teer 4 as a sale/retail as a full time till march 2023 and I am still doing sale/retail job as a part time. (In March 2023 started full time ECE job)

2. Started job as an Early Childhood Educator in Teer 2 with Designated Employer in NL from March 2023. (40 hrs per week)

3. I have 1 month leave in June/July 2023 because I have to travel outside Canada.

I am going to complete 1 year (12 months) work experience (Teer 4 + Teer 2) in November 2023.

Do my work experiences qualify for AIP? Can I start my application in end of November 2023 or I have to wait for March 2024?

Please guide me.

Thanks and Best Regards

Read the AIP requirements, and see if you do. Are you even eligible since you don’t meet residency requirement?
