Hi, I am currently residing in India and applying for a work permit in Halifax, Nova Scotia province through Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). One of the pre requisite for applying the work permit is to apply for PR within 90 days after you receive your work permit. However for applying for PR through AIP there is a pre condition that the employee must have worked for atleast 1 year in past 3 years. I am not fulfilling this condition of 1 yr due to maternity reasons however I have past experience of 9 years in the relevant industry. Wanted to know if maternity can be taken as an exception and previous 9 years experience be considered? Is there any work around towards this?
