Feels great to get back into this forum!
Guys,

I completed my masters in Canada, I have more than a year exp in India under my field and 6 months full time experience in Canada under my field as well. I recently moved to Edmonton from Toronto. Its time for me to apply for my PR and i am really confused.

I have two options for me (if i'm not wrong):
1. AINP - SRS- Engineering occupations Category
2. FSW ( One year exp in the last 10 years - hope i can use my Indian work experience, since I dont have one year exp in Canada)

Please give me your comments. My work permit will expire Dec 2014.

Thanks,
Kannan

Applying AINP is definitely not a good idea, there's a year waiting list to get it. Go for FSW if you qualify for it for sure

That's exactly what I was thinking about. But i'm really unsure whether they require min 1 year Canadian work Experience. They just say '1 year work experience in related field in the past 10 years. Not sure if I can use back home work experience.
Also, I'm not sure if I can make two applications. One for the AINP and one for FSW simultaneous, whichever works!
Any suggestions?

I believe you can make two applications. Lot of people sent CEC and AINP and then at some point they will ask you to choose. For the FSW I believe it's 1 year experience Canada or abroad because CEC was for Canadian experience only so FSW should be work experience anywhere.
