Sadly, AINP stopped accepting applications under U.S. Visa Holder Category and Family Stream.

According to AINP website, the applications postmarked after August 23, 2010 will be returned, but the applications postmarked on or before August 23, 2010 will be accepted for processing and will be processed according to AINP Processing Times and U.S. Visa Holder Category or Family Stream criteria. And this change is temporary (until further notice).

But AINP is still accepting applications in the following areas:
- Skilled workers
- Semi-skilled workers in certain occupations
- International students
- Compulsory trades
- Engineering occupations
- Self-employed farmers

Surely this is breaking sad news. Hope those who wish to submit application to AINP but haven't can find another route.

Good luck to all.

First they screwed IT on H-1B, now they screwed the entire H-1B and family program. Doesn't surprise me given their flipflop last time. Who knows what is next in line?
