Hi,
Need some advice! I applied AINP through post-graduate worker stream this year and two weeks ago got a call from the officer for checking my job and talking with my employer. Everything is good but only one problem is my employer didn't give the overtime pay and the officer asked for an explanation from the employer. The failure of overtime pay is because I wanted more holiday days later at the end of this year instead of overtime pay. I also signed an agreement with the employer that, for the overtime working hours, I would be given more holiday days with the pay by the end of this year. However, the latest Alberta rules specify that the banked time has to be used up within 3 months and mine is beyond 5 months. My employer and I didn't know that before. I already sent this explanation to the officer in the last week. Now I am so worried that the officer will decline my application due to overtime pay issue. Does anyone have similar problems and how did you solve that? If declined, will the failure of overtime pay affect my EE application after accumulating 1 year working experience (my paychecks shows the overtime part is not given)? I really appreciate any suggestions!!! Thank you so so much in advance.
