I am running out of patience. I am a citizen of India and am currently in USA on H1B. Here are my timelines:
Received AINP nomination (Strategic Recruitment Stream): Nov. 2012
Submitted Documents to CIC, Sydney, Nova Scotia: Feb. 2013
Documents returned from CIC, due to some incomplete information: Apr. 2013
email confirmation received from CIC stating that the application is complete and will be forwarded to visa office (Ottawa) for further procession: 10-Jul-2013
email received for Medical examination request: 16-Jul-2013
Medical Exam results received by CIC: Aug 2013
email received to pay RPRF and to submit Police clearance certificate (PCC) from Nepal and also FBI clearance certificate: 15-Aug-2013
RPRF paid on 22-Aug-2013
FBI clearance certificate submitted on 15-Sep-2013 (still no response about Nepal PCC from Nepal embassy)
I sent an email to CIC regarding request to waive off Nepal PCC because I exhausted all means of obtaining it: 4-Nov-2013
Mailed out a letter to CIC with the detailed description about my efforts to obtain PCC (printed out my sent emails to Nepal embassy and Police headquarters in Nepal): 8-Nov-2013
Now my dilemma is that I have not received any response from CIC since I sent my request for the Nepal PCC waiver. Is it possible that my application would be denied because of this reason. I thought I was at my last stage of immigration process and it would suck if I lose it because of it.
How long is the wait time before I should receive any response.
My H1B is expiring (6 years) in Sep. 2014 and I am hopeful to that Canada works out for me.
Is there anyway to call CIC to get an update because I am getting impatient.
Any word of advice would be appreciated.
