I have applied under family stream there were two types of funds that were required to submit.

1.By my sponsor(sister) for about CAD$15000 or to show a job.
2.By me for about CAD$10000 for me and CAD$2000 for my wife.

For the first requirement my sister is doing job and she has also shown CAD$15000 in banK.
For the 2nd requirement i have shown more then CAD$12000 in bank with my name.

But AINP Family stream processing time takes more then three years.
My case is at its initial stages can I use this money for some other purpose or my money is stuck for more then three year in a bank because i have to show 3 months bank statement to prove that it is over CAD$12000.

You should probably call the Immigrate to Alberta Info service to verify, but from what I understand is that the expectation is that you will have the money available to immigrate, so it should be available until you move to Canada. That means that it should probably stay there for the entire waiting period.
