AINP cap reached. What's next?

I was planning to apply in January, as the cap of 5500 applications has been reached. However, I was told that applications which have been sent already, but didn't end up in the cap, will be taking into consideration in 2015. If that is truth can I send my application asap?

If you don't mind waiting 2 years, sure go ahead. They already have 9,700 applications and only 5,500 nominations for 2015.

How do you know they have only 5500 nominations for 2015. The cap hasn't been announced.

That's what I was told. Even if they increase it to 6,000, it's not going to help much.

What "cup" are you talking about? If you apply now, you potentially can receive it in 2016 plus you have to be employed through the whole PR process. If you have that much time, go ahead.

I don't care that I will be able to apply to CIC in 2016. my work permit expires dec 2016. You have to be employed only during PNP process (except Engineering Occupations Category which I am going to apply), not CEC.
I just need to know if the applications received in 2014, those after 5500 nominations were granted, will be processed in 2015 or people have to send new application for year 2015.
In other programs they have a cap number (number of applications they will accept in a certain time) and if the cap is reached they send the rest of applications back. People have to apply again to get into new cap.

I have already apply in CEC but there is only 8000 applications cap so I am not sure if I will get AOR. If not I have to find another option and the best would be AINP.

I think you should apply asap if you are planning to do under engineering stream-
I applied under international grads category back in april and still waiting
Meanwhile my friend who applied 4 months back got her nomination yesterday- they are giving enough preference to engineering stream. Go ahead and apply if are eligible under srs
