Age limit for student visa

Dear all members,
My study gap is 16years. Have completed 3 years graduation in 2003. Now i am 38 years old. Want to study 2 years diploma programm. At present i have valid 2 years visit visa. Recently visited canada. Please advise the chances of getting study permit visa. Waiting for early respons.

While there is no age limit per se, your chances of getting a study permit will depend on whether this diploma program makes sense in light of your existing qualifications and work experience.

Alternatively, if you can convince the officer that you always wanted to study this subject but couldn't because you didn't have money or something like that.. and now you have saved up enough to fulfill your dream.

That second way only really works if you're going for something like medicine, or law or something similar. Won't work for a 2-year diploma in hotel management, for example.
