After the CoPR - Proof of Funds

Hi,

We have finally received our Co-PRs and will be traveling to Canada in the coming months.

I understand that at the time of entry, our Co-PR documents + Passport + proof of funds are the only things that are required (our stuff etc will follow later, we just wanted to enter the country because of work schedules etc.).

How do we declare our funds or show proof of funds when entering the country? We live in India, and had shown our bank a/c statement (all balances in Indian Rupees) when going through the process earlier.

Hi,

Just to confirm, my bank statement includes cash + fixed deposits (can be liquidated immediately) in Indian Rupees.

I have a signed and stamped copy of the bank statement + declaration of fixed deposits on the bank's letterhead, signed and stamped by an authorised signatory.

Is this alright?

in most cases they don even ask proof of funds... until u get a douvhe officer
