After sponsor approval, to maximize odds for my wife's visitor visa, return pla

Hello guys, please help me out here, i've read somewhere that aside the other factors like having family back home, work etc that also showing proof of a return ticket will increase my odds, but i'm wondering whether i have to buy the tickets before she goes to the interview or after they approve my wife on condition that she buys the return ticket. I just dont wanna buy the ticket for nothing and get denied anyway, you get me?

Don't buy any tickets. You don't really have to buy any tickets for a visitor visa, just show proof of an itinerary that you can bring up on Expedia or something. It worked for us. Only buy the tickets after she gets the visa. To maximize the odds, you definitely have to show lots of proof that she will return home before her visa expires. It's hard, but not impossible (see signature)

after i get the visa do i have to buy a two way ticket or one way? will they be checking it, will they let her board the plane?
i'm asking this because we plan to extend her visa to 12 months until she gets approved and we'll just send her passport to Philippines for the permanent resident visa.

You have to buy a two way ticket. One of my friends only bought her mom 1 way ticket to Canada and the Airline from the Philippines did not let her board. Just bear in mind, that if you applied for a visitor visa (except for students and workers) you have to buy 2 way ticket for proof that the one you invited will return to the home country.

Now upon arrival of your wife, then you can cancel or just extend the return ticket. That's what most people do especially if they are waiting for their PR.

I have filed my case on 12 th January 2016 and I wanted to go a visitors visa to my husband. We have not received the UCI yet. So can I apply for visitors visa? Or should I wait for the UCI ?? Thank you

rates of refusal for visitor visa are high because they are scared you'll stay there, so to improve your odds it's best to wait until they send you the letter of approval of sponsor along with your UCI, then you show it to visa office. also having proof of a job and family back home will increase the odds greatly.

I hate to tell you this and by all means go ahead and try, but the chances of getting a TRV for your wife out of Philippines are negligible to none. That's just the way they are. Suggest you save your money.
