Hi All,
Just wondering if there is any legal requirement of actually depositing Cashiers Check, drafts etc into Canadian Bank after showing it at the border to Canadian Immigration as proof of funds?. In other words, i can get a cashiers check from my business account, show it at the border as proof of funds, and then have it cancelled so the money goes back to my original bank in U.S. Is there any problem with that. What if Canadian Customs make a note of issuing bank or Casheirs check numbers etc. Just want to make sure nothing is wrong with it.
Thanks.
