after medical how long does it take to get the student visa??

Guys i am writting from pakistan, i gave my medical test a couple of days before i was wondering after how many days will i get my visa?

my classes start on 4th jan.... my second is when a person gets a medical call does it mean his chances of getting a visa have increased??

That means a file no. has been created. I does not mean that you will get visa. In Pak a decision is made after the medical, actually true processing starts after medical. You should expect something just before Xmas, I think.

but i heard that all the pakistani verifications are completed before the medical call.... and after the medical they start the verifications with the university the applicant is about to attend????

secondly do you mind telling on what basis do they usually reject a student visa??

thirdly is an interview(telephonic) conducted??

a telephonic interview is sometimes conducted. I don't know about the verifications . But I have seen on this forum that mostly people get rejections after medical. Usually they reject visa for insufficient ties with homeland, doubt that ur intention to go is not education, availability of same course in Pak.

i presume if ties with homeland are srong then they dont doubt u arent going for education....? secondly in ur point of view what (amount in bank and property) is sufficient for strong ties with homeland?

Yea, reasons are most of the time interconnected. I can't say about assets. I think, there are several factors like bank account, yearly income, tuition fee, jobs related to ur program. So probably u can't say how much would be enough to prove ties.

Hi ,
I applied for study permit at 15th of November and I got medical request 29th of November, therfore I performed same day and still waiting for confirmation to submit my passport.is there any idea how long cic will take time?
