Hi, folks
I just got informed to update my FBI check and to take a medical exams, does that mean my background check is passed and my PR is coming?
Also, is there any place to take a relatively cheap medical exams in the US, New England areas?
I called almost every clinics nearby. Some told me that only the lab fees can be covered by my insurance, whereas most of them told me all fees are out-of-pocket.

Let me know if any tricks exist.
Thanks

You need to check only the clinics that are CIC panel physicians: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

The only way to find the cheapest one is to phone all of them you would consider going to, and picking the one that offers the cheapest price. There is most likely no way to negotiate the price since they know very well you don't have many other options.

no, there are no cheap options in the new england area. if you want to price match and drive to a specific location, you can do that. you're not really going to find much of a difference in costs. it's cheapest to have the medical done in canada. it is doubtful any insurance will cover the fees since it is for immigration purposes and not medically related.
