Can any one leave Canada after getting a permanent residency entry visa and landing, I mean after landing for few weeks, can one then leave Canada back to home country for work commetments? If yes, then how long can one stay outside Canada after landing for few weeks for the first time in order to be able to get back and still be eligible to permanent residency?

Thank you

Once you land in Canada, it is recommended to stay there for at least a month to get your PR card. Then, you can leave, but note that to keep your PR status, you have to live in Canada for at least 2 years in every 5 years.

hammadsanaa,u may leave without getting your pr card, someone can send it to you through one of the courier companies.cheers
