After Co-op, Contract job affects to CEC?

I will be graduate in June, but official letter will issue on May 15.
Right now i am doing co - op til april 12. after my co-op term, they want me to stay here with contract position.
I am just wondering if I take this contract position before getting completion letter from College, Can I count my work experience start from April 13 which is the day starts on contract position.

You can start counting work experience from the time you apply for a PGWP.
