After applied BOWP

Hi,

I just finished the application of BOWP. Hopefully I can get it at the end of June.
Now I am just wondering if it impact my current process of immigration.
I got a new offer from current employer and the employer is requesting a LMO but was told at least needs 3 months, while my current work permit will be due in next month (June).

So like in August I may get the result of LMO.
1. I am just wondering if I could apply for a new closed work permit once I get the LMO, with the BOWP at hand?
(It looks like that BOWP is only for 1 year. While a closed WP could be longer. But I guess I will get my PR then. )

2. Has anybody already gotten the BOWP?
Did CIC mail it to you or you have to go to a border service to get it?
This is important for me to arrange my travel plan.

ofcourse yes, you can apply Closed WP having BOWP handy, but i am not sure what is going to happen for BOWP application when LMO is inprogress

CIC will mail the BOWP to mailing address

Will CIC let me wait for LMO result?
But what if I failed to get the LMO or get a LMO then I want to change my job?
Hopefully bowp has nothing to do with LMO.
