Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone

I got accepted in Concordia for Mengg for fall term . However, I need to defer the admission to next term i.e. January 2014 due to my father;s health.
Now I want to know that what is the next step towards visa procedure. I have deferred my admission and within few days I will get my new admission letter and will apply for CAQ. But I just contacted few consultants and they told me that before filing the visa I need to open a bank account in Canada through my university and need to deposit the first term fees and some living expenses.
I am not applying under SPP . I am applying under general category.
So after getting CAQ and bank loan , do I need to open a bank account and deposit first term fees. Is it mandatory
Please guys help me out.
I am totally confused about the procedure.
Not sure which step I have to follow first.

no it is not mandatory if ur applying in university category....u deffer admission then 2-3 weeks before u plan to apply for visa apply for CAQ u normally get CAQ in a week if ur from india......then after u get CAQ u apply for visa ...if u want u can pay fees depending on how u want to proceed....u can pay fees directly to the university by wire transfer etc...if u ask university how u can pay for fees they will give u options to pay fees.....

Hi

I have changed my plan of deferring the admission right now. But if you want you need to write an email to Halina(from CS department ) and need to send her the international money order of 25$. Once she receives the money order and your email with reason she will defer your admission to next term
