my first question : how did you know your file is PROCEED CIO means central intake office which SYDNEY , did you call cic or from GCMS note.

IF it is process by Sydney then it is highly chance your file doesn't have major issue to my understanding.
same time there is question all September 2014 applicant got ppr and waiting for pr card THEN why is your case different.

mr SpoonRaccoon also said some other post i saw, if file process by Sydney dm concluded by 12 months
where as your case doesn't match as per his statement.

So i m confused about this forum same as some member what said there reply.

i wish your success wish your dm soon

good luck

Your application is moving along my friend. :) Your timeline is longer than most, but you most likely have a more complicated situation than most which would explain the delay.

My advice is to not worry about where your file is, or attempt the guessing game of how long things will be for the next step. I've watched these forums for over a year now, and your case seems to have been out of step with the majority of people posting. But remember that there are tens of thousands of people going through this process and there are less than a hundred who are reporting in on these forums. So it doesn't mean anything is wrong.

It doesn't matter if your file is in Sydney, Ottawa, or on the moon... rest assured somebody is working on it (your status changed to IP on Friday) so with more time and patience you will reach the end of this journey. Think positive thoughts and don't let your mind race!

Good luck sir! :)

Thanks for your time

My Concern is Ecas changed IP on Friday which is 30 October but Ecas says we start processing your application on 23 February 2015

What is like that

Why my file process so differently or it is the way CIC works

Please reply

Mine did exactly the same thing, and anyone that's received IP in the past few months has had similar too. They used to say that they started processing your application on the same date that your ECAS updated, however now the date almost always matches your AOR date even though the "IP" status comes many months later. What it means is that they've been technically processing your application this whole time, but it has now reached a point where it is being processed more actively.

This is all good news. You should enjoy this moment and then wait for them to contact you if they need more information, or hopefully for a DM update! But don't ask for an estimated timeframe for that - you have a fairly unique case so the best you can do is watch for other results for a general guide.

To some extent, it is good for you when they say that they started processing your application on Feb 23. It means they have spent 8 months plus and now they have to speed up to catch the timeframe :)
