I have checked my E-CAS as well which is updated and the processing time went from 2014 to 2013. In fact, they want to clean their shit for the new government what it means if the new government want clarification, they would say that they start processing the cases on time while our case dusted in their offices. the fact is that they intentionally delayed our cases. However, please those who are citizen go and vote anyone you want except conservative (Harper) Anti-Humanity party. They don't realize how hard is to be away from our beloved one.
Note: I believe that this update is just for cleaning their ass.

It was just saying "we started processing your application in July 23 2014". They changed it from May to July.

Our MP's have power to help us bring our loved ones sooner. But they don't care. I tried to get help from him but instead he kicked me out of his office and told me not to vote for him.
Conservatives are always against Muslims!!!!
I mean the only way is if we know a friend who sponsored their spouse and recently came, they would have the visa officers information and we can call them direct so they can finish our application.

Canadian4life, the MP's could not help you to speed up the process of your application, but they could give you the process information what your application status is. In addition, the involvement of MP's are good because they could get information faster than us. However, I am agree that Conservative is are Anti-Muslims and that is why they give us a hard time. But if MP's do send emails direct to visa office, it will help process our application faster.
It happened to others I know and they came quick by the help of MP

Okay so you will have an interview some time soon inshallah ! And if your madical is active then they will work on the background checks it can take upto an year or sometimes if you pass the interview then they will issue you the visa ! The interview is the harder part make sure you and your spouse both go and be confident and know what you are going to say in this forum in the earlier pages you can find sample interview questions that members had from thier interviews you can take a look ! Let me know if you need help inshallah you will hear good news soon

Hello guys,

I just checked the status of my husband's sponsorship case and it has finally changed to 'IN PROCESS'. NDVO received our application at the end of February of 2015 and they started processing our application two months later in April of 2015. I have been in Afghanistan for the past 2 and half months and just found out that I am pregnant!! Should I update NDVO and let them know that I am in Afghanistan with my husband and that I am pregnant?
Also, does anyone know what the next step is?
