Congratulation, mine is in process since August 28, 2014 and I did not get anything from them.

I sent 2nd police Clarence with Afghanistan forms in may and didn't get anything from them
Don't know about interview is waived or not and when will my husband get remedial request and passport request

Howcome ur file is on London ? It should be in India ! Unless u are from Pakistan ?

My husband is afghan but the sent my file to London but I received 2nd police Clarence request from India so now it will be in India .

No dear your file was never send to London it mast have been sent to India! You can order your notes and see that !

1st the email that file is sent to Islamabad then the email that file is sent to London then I got email from India to submit 2nd police Clarence with Afghanistan forms so now I communicat to India and it is 5th month that i submit requested document and did not get anything new from them hope the finalise my case Soooooon

I had a few questions. Was wondering if anyone can help me out. I am fairly new to sponsorship. I just recently Sponsored my husband. I sent in the application and they received it on July 2nd, 2015. I got an email stating its processing. They are now processing June 26, 2015. Hopefully within a week or so they will process my application and Send me another Email. Friends you have gone through this. Please let me know how the process works. I hear from a lot of people that sponsorships now only take a year. Therefore the wait is not that bad. Is there anyone who is currently sending applications in 2015 and knows the status of how long it takes. There have been people who have come within. 8 months. I sent my application with everything. Including medical and police clearance. Infact I sent everything in a complete packaging. I made sure nothing is missing. Will they require further documents? because I have sent all the original documents and everything requested all at once. I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me if there are any surprises heading my way. ?

Hello Amina,

The process of your spousal application will be the following:

Sponsor side = you will get AOR1 witin 35 days of submission your application and Sponsorship approval with 61 Days of your application submission to CIC Mississauga , processing time is based on CIC website...

Applicant side = after sponsorship approval from your side then it will go to India for further processing of your husband in afghanistan, if our application is straight forward it will take 8 to 9 months after that..

but if you get a red flag then it will move your file to 16 months including interview or further documentation requirements ...

Omg I just saw that Pakistan processing time has changed to 47 months I'm really really sad right now this is so stupid
