Afghanistan Spouse Sponsorship Through Pakistan

Hi everyone, I am new to this Forum, I am an Afghan, I reside in Canada and i am a Canadian Citizen, I am going through alot of wait time

I got married back home in Afghanistan in End of 2011 so we filed our application on April 2012, we got our first acceptance letter from the Pakistan Islamabad Immigration on July 2013, since than we waited for a long time, so on Nov 2014 we received an email from Islamabad Immigration Office for a Second Medical Check-Up, after doing the Remed, so On March 12-2015 we got another email asking for my wifes passport and two photo graphs.

After getting everything ready passport and photographs, my wife went to pakistan visa office in islamabad and submitted the passport along with the photos on March 19-2015, They gave her a tracking number for VFSGLOBAL so i have been checking the status of the passport processing now its been 28 days they havent given her visa as of yet, is this normal? It is still taking such long wait so far after submitting the passport in Islamabad Visa Office??

When I go on vfsglobal and enter the tracking number
I get the following message:

Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Offlice, ISLAMABAD on 20/03/2015. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

So how long it is going to take more for them to get the visa ready and give it to my wife?
I know some of the folks who are getting their visa's through India, New Delhi, they seem to get their visa much quicker, but unfortunately mine was done through Pakistan and sure as hell it takes such long time, its been 3 years now since the first day we filled our application for sponsership, Given the fact that i had done everything correctly and submitted everything all at once without making any mistakes.

But 2 years ago when my brother in-law came to canada, he had given his visa through pakistan as well, but his only took 2 weeks after he submitted his passport in Islamabad Pakistan, how come in my wife's situation it has gotten well passed 28 days? why are they stretching the work load and time.

afghanistan Spouse Sponsorship interview

Hello everyone
i started my sponser on march 2014. On april 2016 me and my hubby went for an interview to new delhi. And the officer told us our interview was approved she even congratuaged me but she didnt keep my husbands passport i told her we are staying for 5 more days. she said we will get a passport requst with in 2 months. I am worried why she didnt keep it at that time. I heard they keep most of the passport and if its urgent they can even give the visa the next day. Pls help me i am soo worried. I came from afghanistan 3 days a go and i miss him already. Please help wt i shud do
