Afghan spouse applicants can not do biometrics, medical or passport submission inside Afghanistan as there is no canadian presence or recognition.
We have to get medical visa for Pakistan which costs $1000 USD each which we need 2 visas each time as she is not allowed to travel alone. So $2000 USD every 3 months for Visas until all application steps completed.
Our application is difficult to complete and the processing times have increased since 2023 as it’s no longer fast tracking.
Application submitted Jan 31. My pr application tracker is stuck on May 27th. I have medical passed July 31. Background and eligibility completed.
Biometrics is not complete as we couldn't do it first time and was not requested again yet.
Any advice or replies would be helpful.
