I have been accepted to a university in Canada and will be applying for a study permit and TRV soon. I am going to apply to New Delhi CIC office as I am an Indian Resident. Apart from the Education loan I would take to cover my tution fees, my Father is my only sponsor. DO I need to get an Affidavit of sponsorship from my father while applying for visa?
If Yes, whom should I meet and what is the procedure in India to get such affidavit done?

I don't think you need an affidavit of support for finances in fact never heard anyone doing so either. You'll have to pay the fees for uni for at least first semester and maybe second too before you apply for visa. And you may also deposit $10,000 as GIC in scotia bank for living expenses during your stay in Canada for 1st year to financially strengthen your case although it is not mandatory for university applicants. Alternatively, you'll then have to show a loan for a corresponding amount or even more in your Indian bank account. Hope this helps.
