Hello, can someone send me an example of an affidavit to prove my relationship with my spouse since we lost marriage certificate and I need an example to prove my relationship with my mother whom I am sponsoring since I can't find my birth certificate. Thanks.

I too would like to know what kind of things they would be looking for in an affidavit. I'm thinking about getting a friend and family member to write an affidavit proving that we are in a relationship but i'm unsure what kinds of things they should mention. Anyone got any points from letters that they've submitted?

They probably will still ask for the documents. Ordering new certificates would save you some time as additional document requests hold up your file
