AEO Extension Letter - from HRSDC

Hello friend,

Next month my AEO is expiring. I know some people (AEO applicant) in this forum have an experience on getting the AEO extension letter from HRSDC (through employer).

Can someone share the steps involved in getting the same?

- What are the documents required for the employer to ask for the AEO extension for the applicant?
- Is this a time consuming thing?
- Do the Dept. of HRSDC requires Canadian Consulate's request letter asking for AEO extension letter?
Because if it doesn't required the above document from consulate, I can pro-actively ask my employer to apply for the extension.
- Will it costs to the employer again?

Kindly share your inputs (even for if I miss anything)...

I hope everything ok in your process, I have a question, My employer applied for AEO in August 2012. December now and no any reply. How long did your AEO take to be approved?

If your Visa has been issued no need to extend the AEO letter.................i studies your timeline....now feeling relax and land and start job......

it takes almost 4 month .........so you must have to wait for 4 month for positive reply......
