I need information, My sister currently works as an RN in singapore and wants to move to Canada, her agency Enhance Visa Services is asking $10,000 for the AEO, she said once they have the AEO visa processing will be 6 months or less, I am very much concerned since her country of origin is the Philippines and there are a lot of "placement agency" that asks for money I am not familiar with canadian immigration - Any information i would really appreciate it. Thank you

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Charging $10000 throws up an immediate red flag to me. In some provinces it is illegal for agencies to charge for their services. And there is no guarantee that they will find her a job that will provide an AEO.

She should try to find a job on her own. Tell her to look at Job Bank. I just took a look at RN job openings in Calgary, Alberta and there are quite a few.

She should also try to familiarize herself with immigration information so she knows what is required if she gets a job offer.

Thank you for your input, that is exactly what I told her, I would really appreciate for RN applicants to Canada who have AEO already if they could verify and give estimate like a timeline , I am starting to read more on canadian immigration

Try posting in the Skilled Worker section of this forum. Most of those who have obtained AEOs and are applying through the federal skilled worker program are there.

I would definitely want to know if a nurse could get an AEO before passing the required Canadian nursing exams. Go on the FSW site and get on one of the nursing threads to ask your question.
