Advise required on IELTS Score...

Hi experts..!!

I am very much interested in applying for Canadian immigration but unfortunately both times I got overall 6 band score in IELTS but not 6 in Reading section.

I also got my ECA report in last month. Can anyone advise is there option that I can process my application with this score in PNP program as i m not eligible in FSWP program of not having 6 band in each (reading) section..

Any individual applying for Canada immigration needs to be eligble for FSW first before he can apply for any PNP. Kindly reappear for IELTS and increase your scores. There are many people on this forum who have appeared for IELTS 4 to 5 times and increased their scores drastically.

Not fully agreed with you. There are several applicants who were initially not eligible for FSW but successfully secured their nomination through PNP and also got their visa. Basically there are various ways to immigrate to Canada. You can even apply to SINP with CLB 4 and 5 and get nomination. For PNP, IELTS is dependent on your occupation level and provincial eligibility requirements. In essence, there is no need to get 6 band in each module in order to be eligible for PNP.

^ You are right, there are still some paper-based PNPs that don't require FSW eligibility.
Only the electronic PNPs require federal-level eligibility.

When we talk on this forum, we always talk in terms of the eligibility criteria for majority of the immigration programs and not for the exception cases.
So you cannot misguide someone by saying that eligibility for FSW is not required. Express Entry is the latest system and we need to talk and advice in terms of conditions surrounding this system.

We are here to give advice to potential applicants. SINP Occupation in demand isn't exception. There are more than 1500 quota for SINP OID and 500 this year so far so obviously it isn't exception. SINP OID only need CLB 4 at least. Even SINP Express Entry category (above 2000 quota last year alone) only requires to have CLB 5 level of IELTS competency. Which is around 4.5-5.5 band in each category. So obviously there are various options and it is apparent from their website not a misguidance at all.
