Advise on Temporary Work visa from India...

Hi

I need an immediate help on Canadian visa.

Last year (2014) I met an consultant/Agent in Mumbai and paid some money to immigrate to Canada.

He said he will get a job with temporary work visa for 2 years.

I paid large money and this process started in sept/2014. Its almost 10 months now... whenever I call him he says LMIA applied by employer and still waiting for a feedback from CIC. Initially he said 6 months for overall process...

I not received any proof for LMIA application... I am also aware temporary work visa now cancelled and they introduced express entry from this year...

He said the company name and the location Vancouver...

How to check his genuine??? Plz help me on this...due to this i am wasting my money and wasting my career believing i will get a work visa in Canada...

Temporary work visas were NOT canceled because of express entry. They are still being issued.

It sounds like you were probably scammed and there was never a job. Did you ever interview with the company that was going to hire you?
